A Private Pilot License permits the holder to act as the pilot-in-command of an aircraft privately (not for commercial use). It is obtained by successfully completing a course with at least 40 hours of flight time inclusive of solo flights, and by passing 10 written exams, and successfully demonstrating flying skills to an examiner during a flight test or check ride (including an oral exam).
We in Royhle provide 100 hours of necessary ground training to appear for the PPL certification.
Flying activity is heavily reliant on external factors such as weather, visibility, flying environment suitability and airspace availability. The course duration, except in exceptional circumstances, is not expected to exceed four months.
Minimum requirement for enrolling:
- Age should be at least 17 years old
- Must be medically fit (You should be able to pass the medical exams conducted by the CAAP which is a class 2 medical. Students with corrective lens/glasses are accepted)
- Must be able to read, write and speak English (CAAP will conduct English Language Proficiency examination for the issuance of any pilot license)
